The Collin County Sheriff's registrar serves unincorporated areas and cities without their own police department. A person who resides inside an incorporated city with a police department registers through that local police agency instead. Address changes must be reported before moving, followed by registration in the new jurisdiction within the statutory time. Article 62.102 makes failure to comply with registration duties a felony. Exact duties depend on the person's governing category, so a public table cannot replace the statute or an official determination.
